Spotlight on the cast of

A Life in the Theatre

Mike Smolinski (Robert) has credits as an actor and playwright are almost too numerous to chronicle. He has appeared in more than sixty productions at Civic, Circle, Actor’s, Heritage, Jewish Theatre, and theatres throughout Michigan. He has received five Grand Award nominations and won awards for his roles in Denial and The Crucible. As a writer, Mike has had numerous one-act and full-length plays produced in Grand Rapids and as far away as Washington state. He co-wrote the award-winning film documentary, The Reckoning. His book with fitness specialist Sean Foy, titled The 10 Minute Total Body Breakthrough, will be available in bookstores in August.

Patrick Kepley (John) most recently held roles with Pigeon Creek Shakespeare Company include Edmund in King Lear and Duke Orsino in Twelfth Night. He has appeared in Grand Valley State University productions as Romeo/Lover in the 2007 Shakespeare Festival’s Bard to Go and as Dr. Simian in Wildwood Park. I wish to thank the fantastic cast and crew for the wonderful experience I have been having with this show. I would also like to thank my Mom, Dad, and Aunt Sydney for all their help and support
